A mining adventure playground in Clausthal-Zellerfeld
In the centre of theUNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Harz Water Management"there is a fantastic playground that not only delights children. Here you can climb and dig in the sand to your heart's content. The special thing about this place on Spiegelthaler Straße is the close connection to mining in the Harz Mountains. The winding tower has two levels with a climbing path, slide and 45 metre ropeway to play on.
It is well equipped for the "work of little miners", with the option of washing and processing the "ore" in front of the water course. For transport, even the youngest children can prove themselves as train drivers in the wooden railway with attached wagons. A small water playground also invites you to cool off in summer. A mystical bridge leads to the "insect hotel" and even "gold" can be mined here.

By prior arrangement, the shelter on the playground can be used for children's birthday parties and barbecues. Over 40 years of history characterise this place in Clausthal-Zellerfeld for children of all ages. The "mining Robinson playground" is a playground construction project supported by donations and sponsors. It is a so-called "civic commitment" for more play and quality of life for our children. The "Villa Kunterbunt" pony farm in the nearby neighbourhood offers riding experiences for kids, and you can even go on riding holidays here.
